India has a written constitution developed by constitutional assembly. In our constitution according to Article Article 51A in Part IV A there are 11 Fundamental Duties. This fundamental duties are mentioned in our constitution for PATRIOTIC SPIRIT,INTEGRITY and UNITY.

The fundamental fundamental duties are part of our constitution. Citizens of India enjoy certain rights to ensure democracy within the state. But where rights come there are some duties which allows you.



The 11 Fundamental Duties are described as follows : 

1. Abide by the Constitution and respect for its ideals, institutions and national symbols.

2. Follow and respect the inspiring elements of the national movement.

3. Defense of India's sovereignty, unity and integrity.

4. Defense and service of the nation.

5. Development of harmony and brotherhood among the people of India.

6. Protecting the Integrated Culture and Glorious Tradition.

7. Protection of nature and compassion towards animals.

8. Development of Scientific Approach, Humanism and Learning.

9. Protecting public property and away from violence.

10. Striving for individual and collective excellence.

11. Every Indian parent should provide education opportunity to 6 - 14 year old children.

According to the above description as an Indian citizen it is it's moral duty to contribute for the welfare of the country through all are activities and actions.
